How’s the performance? At our test track, the non-hybrid Sportage took 8.6 seconds to reach 60 mph, compared to 7.4 seconds for the hybrid. The Sportage sits on a redesigned platform with a longer wheelbase than the previous generation, resulting in increased ride comfort.

How’s the Real World MPG? We estimate the 2025 Sportage is rated at 25 mpg city and 32 mpg highway with front-wheel drive; The all-wheel-drive variant is rated for 23 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. On a fuel-efficient 75 mph route, the all-wheel-drive Sportage X-Pro Prestige returned 31 mpg.
